Overview

This public marketing site is a static website for Setlistto. It does not require a Setlistto account, connect to Spotify, or include application login features.

Setlistto itself is self-hosted software for syncing song feeds, currently BandHelper JSON feeds, to Spotify playlists. Each Setlistto instance is operated by the person, band, organization, or hosting account that deploys it.

Marketing site information

The static marketing site may be served by a hosting provider such as GitHub Pages. That provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URLs, and timestamps as part of hosting and security operations.

The marketing site does not include third-party analytics or advertising tracking by default.

Information stored by an instance

A self-hosted Setlistto instance stores the information needed to sync playlists, including Spotify account information, Spotify app configuration, playlist mappings, feed settings, song metadata, track matches, missing-track records, sync status, and diagnostics.

The operator controls where the instance runs, where its database is stored, who can access it, and how backups and logs are handled.

Spotify access

Setlistto uses Spotify OAuth for login and playlist access. The application requests permission to read private playlists and modify public and private playlists. Those permissions are used to perform playlist syncing actions configured in the instance.

Each operator is responsible for their own Spotify Developer app, redirect URI configuration, Spotify quota mode, allowlisted users, and Spotify Developer Policy compliance.
